Write for us

We welcome original, well-shaped contributions that help readers notice something specific about running culture, practice, equipment, routes or planning.

What makes a good pitch

Start with one focused question and explain what a reader will understand after reading your piece. We favour clear explanations, thoughtful comparisons, cultural context and useful planning ideas that do not depend on unsupported claims, private access or professional advice.

A distinct point of view

Show why your proposed subject deserves its own article and how you will handle it with care. Avoid broad surveys, product promotion presented as editorial, and advice that depends on medical judgment or local rules.

How to send it

Send a short proposal through the Contact page. Include a working title, the central idea, a brief outline and any relevant sources or conflicts of interest. A proposal is not a guarantee of publication; please do not send a complete commissioned-length piece unless requested.

Our point of view

The run is part of a bigger story

We look beyond pace and distance to the choices, places and traditions that make running meaningful to different people.
